Why New York City?
You can’t go anywhere in New York City without encountering artists. From the galleries of Chelsea to the shows on (and off) Broadway, from musicians in Brooklyn to incredible museums of Manhattan, the city is world renown for its incredible arts. The city supports and inspires artists of all kinds, and the results are everywhere.
In New York city we will dive into the arts scene as we explore the neighborhoods and highlights of the city. From a generalized view mixing music, performance, and visual arts to a deep dive into any one discipline, we will meet with artists, discover hidden venues, and even make our own pieces too. What will the city inspire for us? How can other cities help shape art into the future?
1-3 Days - Manhattan Sightseeing
Welcome to New York!
After arriving in the city, understand the scale of NYC from the top one of the city’s skyscrapers and have an orientation of the different boroughs and neighborhoods of the city. Enjoy an inspiring dinner (as we see culinary artists at work) before we cover some of the top sightseeing, history, and world renowned museums of this artists’ mecca.
1-5 Days - Broadway, Mid Town, The Village, and Beyond
Performance from Big to Small
Attend a Broadway show and meet with local actors to understand how to make a career in the performing arts. Join in an improv workshop with some local comedians and hunt for music on the streets and in the concert venues around the city.
1-5 Days - Various Museums, Chelsea, and Brooklyn
The Changing Face of Visual Art
For every famous fine artist there is an equally famous obscure artist, and chances are that their work is found in New York City. Explore different eras and styles of art by visiting the diverse museums in Manhattan and Brooklyn and also discover the street art and small gallery shows from less famous, but incredibly talented, residents of the city.

A City Inspiring Artists
Get creative by meeting the local artists of New York City and attending a hands-on class in a studio. Continue exploring the historical sites and the modern scenes, from Central Park to the Highline and Little Island, the city has countless beautiful spaces to inspire all types of artists.
