We can help design and facilitate faculty-led programs, operate short or mid-length study away programs, or manage global centers and project hubs.

Faculty Led Programs

Atlas faculty-led programs partner with universities to take existing courses into the field, turning cities into living classrooms. Faculty set the academic spine; Atlas designs the on-the-ground experience through careful collaboration with local providers to ensure smooth logistics that free instructors to teach.

Each itinerary is custom-built around a central inquiry, with preparatory materials and assessment-aligned activities. Programs range from embedded course modules to intensive study trips. Students practice ethical engagement, applied research, and real-world intercultural skills while producing deliverables for the connected course. Faculty gain durable community partnerships and a repeatable model for experiential learning that strengthens curriculum and outcomes.⁠⁠​

Atlas Global Centers and Hubs offer a network where university cohorts and independent students can connect with the everyday rhythm of major global cities. Instead of tours, participants anchor in a neighborhood and work from local studios and meeting spaces.

 

Whether it’s a short intensive or semester residency, Atlas provides logistical and academic support for research, field studies, and other programs or projects driven by university goals and the needs of the particular student or cohort. . Students leave with an enhanced body of work, and, more importantly, relationships and perspective that continue to shape their scholarship and practice throughout their careers.⁠⁠​
